The Coronavirus Act, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act provides emergency financial relief for businesses harmed by the COVID-19 crisis. This authorizes grants, loans and other economic relief for:

• small businesses entities

• sole proprietors/self-employed individuals

• independent contractors

• certain non-profits.
