Ashleigh Stone, Esq. is the founder and shareholder of Stone Law Firm, PC.
Before starting her law practice in 2016, Ashleigh worked for more than five years as a Los Angeles based business and employment litigator dedicated to representing and counseling employees and businesses on all aspects of California employment law. Her experience zealously representing more than 100 employees and numerous businesses in litigation gives her a unique perspective in counseling small businesses on all aspects of business and employment legal compliance. She knows costly legal battles erupt over avoidable poor employment and business practices, and she's determined to help her clients avoid the same mistakes through preventive legal services. Ashleigh is passionate about using her expertise to provide cost-effective services to small business owners who are determined to protect their business with best practices and reduce their risk of costly business disputes down the road.
Ashleigh grew up in Palm Springs, California with strong family ties to Long Beach. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Riverside. Ashleigh earned her law degree at Thomas Jefferson School of Law (TJSL) and has been practicing in state and federal court since 2010. At TJSL, Ashleigh served as a law clerk for both the TJSL Veterans Legal Assistance Clinic and the Los Angeles Legal Aid Foundation serving the Veterans Justice Center and Government Benefits Unit.
COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERING
Ashleigh is a member of the Leadership Long Beach Institute, Class of 2024.
Ashleigh is the President of Long Beach Barristers, the young lawyer division of the Long Beach Bar Association.
Ashleigh is the President of Long Beach Architecture Week, a non-profit that celebrates and fosters an appreciation of architecture and design in the City of Long Beach
Ashleigh is a member of the Economic Development Committee of the Downtown Long Beach Alliance, a non-profit organization dedicated to cultivate, preserve and promote a health, safe and prosperous Downtown Long Beach.
Ashleigh is an Community Organizer of 1 Million Cups - Long Beach , which works with entrepreneurs, empowering them with the tools and resources to break down barriers that stand in the way of starting and growing their businesses.
Stone Law Firm, PC was the official legal adviser for Long Beach Bride a community of wedding and event local businesses. (2018-2019)
She is co-founder of the Long Beach Small Business Diversity Alliance created to help empower local small business owners, which organizes a free monthly workshop for local entrepreneurs. (2017 - 2018)
Ashleigh is passionate about zero-waste and plastic-free living. She organizes quarterly events for the Long Beach community to help reduce waste related to fast-fashion.
